Staying safe during the Covid 19/ Coronovirus Pandemic
Now that we have closed our shop doors temporarily, I wanted to update you on the changes we have made to how we work.
All our staff are safely at home with their families and will be paid.
We are unable to answer telephone queries, take sales over the phone or offer a click and collect service currently.
As a small business we fulfil our orders from our shop. When an order is received, I will personally travel to the shop alone to pack the order.
To minimise the frequency of these visits it will be necessary to increase the time before dispatch to 3 to 4 days rather than same day despatch.
All orders will be sent via Royal Mail to minimise the use or couriers who may be needed to deliver essential items during this crisis. It is possible to post most of our products through a letter box, but we would encourage you to add a note to your order indicating a safe place for the Royal Mail personnel to leave a parcel.
To allow you to stay at home and keep safe we have added a gift message feature to our website. This will allow you to send any gifts directly to your loved ones by using their delivery address and we will add your gift message.
We will continue to follow strict hand cleanliness before all parcel processing.
We understand that what we sell is a non-essential product but know that many of our customers wish to send a gift to a loved one, or perhaps treat themselves at this difficult time.
We think that the measures we have introduced will allow you to be reassured that if you shop with us online during this time that we have not put any of our staff at risk.
